Europe 2008 - Sneak Peak

The Circle

Having just graduated Highschool, I'm spending ~$4500 of hard earned part-time job cash on my first trip abroad unaccompanied by parents--yes, quite a terrifying and exciting experience for a mid-western pampered school boy.

But I won't be alone. I'm going with a very good friend for 3 of the weeks before being stranded in Vienna, Prague and Berlin all by my lonesome self.

The itinerary is as follows:

Flight from Chicago, Ohare to Amsterdam, Netherlands. (3 nights)

Amsterdam to Bruges, Belgium. (2 nights)

Bruges to Gent, Belgium. (2 nights)

Gent to Paris, France. (4 nights)

Night train from Paris to Munich, Germany. (3 nights)

Night train from Munich to Venice, Italy. (2 nights)

Night train from Venice to Budapest, Hungary. (3 nights - friend leaves for home)

Budapest to Vienna, Austria. (3 nights - possible stop in Bratislava)

Vienna to Prague, Czech Republic. (3 nights)

Prague to Berlin, Germany. (3 nights)

Berlin Germany to Chicago, USA.

All in all it adds up to a month-long trip from July 21st to August 21st. And we'll be bringing guitars.

Op! It's late! On with planning!
